Mary/Michael Pilgrims Way is a small not for profit organisation. We hope that our vision of establishing a pilgrimage route across England will inspire others to get involved both in walking the route but also by participating in other ways enabling the project to evolve and grow sustainably.
Alongside the continuing development of the route, we are now in the position to offer an enhanced programme of guided pilgrimage walks. The purchase of a van created an opportunity to begin to develop a series of guided group pilgrimages, ranging between one and seven days duration. The sections of the route covered on these group pilgrimages have included West Cornwall, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. A short video shot “on location” during the Dartmoor pilgrimage in May 2013 is available to view on You Tube.
If you have specific enquiries about these or other related topics which are not answered by information on the website ring or e-mail. We will offer what help we can.
A guidebook for the Cornish section of the pilgrimage has now been printed and is available for sale through the website alongside the pilot section guide. Together they create the possibility of making a continuous pilgrimage of over 250 miles between West Cornwall and Glastonbury. All income goes towards the ongoing development of the project.
